Your arm is also weak or heavy and you have the impression that you feel nothing in it. However, you can easily get rid of this kind of tingling. All you have to do is move your arms energetically for a while and of course change your sleeping position. It is also recommended to keep your arm above the heart level for a while.

3. Thoracic Outlet Syndrome

If tingling in your right arm is permanent and persistent, you may suffer from a condition known as thoracic outlet syndrome. It occurs when the nerves in your shoulder get compressed and the tingling feeling spreads down your arm.

There are various possible causes of thoracic outlet syndrome. For example, it is the consequence of an injury or some bone defect. It may also be caused by so called cervical rib, which is an extra bone that develops above your first rib of the right or left shoulder. It sometimes compresses the surrounding nerves or blood vessels, causing tingling in the arm.

Moreover, thoracic outlet syndrome causes other symptoms too. They include frequent headaches, pain in the affected arm or in the chest, and tingling in one or a few of your fingers. It is possible to relieve the annoying symptoms by a proper therapy at a physical therapist.

4. Arm Injury

If you work out regularly or you have experienced some kind of accident recently, it is possible that tingling in your right arm is the consequence of your arm injury, which may also affect the nerves. As a result, you may experience tingling, numbness, or even loss of feeling in the affected arm.
