Critical Viewing

This session includes an interactive exercise created to increase the critical viewing skills of the participants. The discussion will include information on content-based versus age-based rating systems and what is currently occurring with the industry rating systems. There will be discussion, videos, practical action ideas, and question and answer time. The goals of the workshop are to become more informed and educated on media's impact on children and families and to view media "through different eyes" once completing the session
