There is other option for using liquid soap against wasps. You can prepare the same mixture of water and liquid soap as it has been described before. Then, you will need to line the windows and doors with this liquid. This will help you to prevent the wasps from entering your house. You can apply this remedy in case of fighting against other bugs as well.

8. Cucumber

It may seem surprising that wasps do not like cucumbers. Thus, you can use several slices of this vegetable against the insects. Cut two cucumbers into slices with a knife and place these slices anywhere where you usually see wasps. Cucumber will make the insects stay away from your house.

9. Cinnamon Powder

One of the scents wasps simply detest is the scent of the eugenol oil. This oil is present in cinnamon. Thus, if you want to change your house into a place inauspicious for the proliferation of wasps, you should use cinnamon powder for this purpose.

You just need to take cinnamon powder and sprinkle it in the places which have been infested by these dangerous insects. In addition to it, you can sprinkle the powder near the nests. Of course, you will need to sprinkle fresh powder on a regular basis in order to refresh the scent of the eugenol oil.

10. Peppermint Oil

Another scent which is hated by wasps is the scent of peppermint oil. Therefore, it will be a good idea to make a special repellent of this oil and an unscented shampoo.

First of all, you should make a mixture if a tablespoon of an unscented shampoo and the same amount of peppermint. Then, you will need to add two cups of water into the mixture and make a clear solution of all the ingredients.

Take an empty spray bottle and fill it with this mixture. Now, you can sprinkle the solution on all the surfaces and places where wasps can be found. If you repeat this procedure on a daily basis during a week, wasps will leave your house.

11. Lavender Oil, Citronella Oil, Pennyroyal Oil, Eucalyptus Oil and Tea Tree Oil

You have already understood that wasps do not like many strong scents which are regarded by the majority of people as pleasant. There are many other oils which can be used against wasps. You can prepare a mixture of various essential oils with vodka which won’t attract wasps for a fact.

First of all, you will need to prepare a mixture of essential oils. You will need to take approximately two teaspoons of lavender oil, three teaspoons of citronella oil, five teaspoons of tea tree oil and the same amount of pennyroyal oil and eucalyptus oil. Mix all the oils thoroughly.

Now, you will need to dilute the mixture with half a litre of vodka. The solution should be poured into a spray bottle. You will need to spray all the places infested by wasps wit this mixture. Repeat the procedure regularly and wasps won’t like your premises any longer.

12. Baby Powder

Baby powder is usually produced from talc. It occurs that talc can repel wasps, so, you should try this weapon in your fight against these insects.
