Erin Walsh

Training Consultant

Erin Walsh is a dynamic and knowledgeable speaker who has addressed a wide range of audiences on topics related to media's impact on children, families and communities. She has presented to youth groups as well as adults and professionals. She has worked at the Institute for over five years and is a principal architect of the MediaWise movement. In 2003 she organized a nationwide video game awareness and accountability campaign with twenty colleges and universities. In addition to her dynamic MediaWise workshops Erin has special expertise in body image and the media, identity politics, violence against women in the media, and video game violence. Erin is one of the Institute's international speakers, and has conducted a series of workshops in Peru in 2004. Erin currently lives in Minneapolis, MN and is a passionate advocate of the MediaWise movement!
