health based on scientific research and the insights and conclusions
from the summit.

- How to improve the rating system accuracy and efficacy,
based on scientific evidence.
- How to best educate people about the impact of video games,
need to select appropriate games, and the value of caregiver involve
ment
in media use by youth.
- How legislative and other public policy initiatives can
help or hinder the above goals.

- Inform the participants about future technology developments
anticipated over the coming decade.
- Review the current and emerging trends related to video
game rating systems, education policy and government regulation.
- Elevate the level of debate about video games to include
critical dialogue about video game effects, ratings accuracy and
effectiveness,
education efforts and research.
- Inform and advance national conversation based on evidence,
