within their community.
What are the goals of Switch?
The goals of Switch are to promote and
increase the health and fitness of children and
their families by :
- Switching up physical activity.
- Switching down screen time.
- Switching over to veggies and fruit.
Who can use Switch?
Switch can be licensed for use in two ways:
- Switch Community License.
- Switch Individual School, School
District, or Organizational License.
How does a Community benefit from Switch?
Switch
is a flexible Community
Awareness Program designed to meet
the different needs of different communities.
Switch becomes the "umbrella"
under which all a community's wellness and
fitness initiatives can find a focus.
Communities buying a Switch Community License
receive the license to use Switch for
one year and includes the Switch Community
Public Relations Kit, consultation, materials
and messaging to promote health and fitness
awareness in their community.
How does an individual school, School
District, or organization benefit from Switch?
Switch is designed as a home-based
program for students in the 3rd, 4th,
and 5th grades. It is not a classroom curriculum.
Switch gives parents and children the
tools they need to make the switch to fitness
and health. Besides being a "hands-on"
program for families, Switch becomes
the umbrella for all School district or organizational
initiatives to promote health and fitness
for their children.
Individual
schools, school districts, or organizations
buying the Switch License receive the
license to use Switch for one year
and includes the Switch Program Start-up
Kit with a set of program materials, school
or community-wide awareness materials, and
a full day of training.
Can other groups benefit from using the
Switch program?
Yes, any group or organization that works
with children and families can adapt the Switch
program to fit their needs.

media on children's health. It is an independent,

can make healthy media choices for their children.
