What does my gift look
like working in a community?
Just
recently 13 women came together with
their families to celebrate the end
of a successful MediaWise Early Childhood
program. These 13 daycare providers
invested several weeks in MediaWise
training to become MediaWise ambassadors
armed and ready to take positive
media information into their communities.
This means that hundreds of young
children and their families will benefit
from their knowledge and power. Kids
lives will change for the better.
Like the 5-yearold boy with big behavior
problems at school, whose father heard
the MediaWise message and went home,
took the TV out of his young sons
bedroom and set and enforced limits.
His son is successful in school now
(after a couple weeks of withdrawal!).
Sometimes success is this simple.
Your gift puts the possibility for
this kind of impact and success into
communities all over the country.
Now thats a gift.
