"Bully" The Video Game

BullyThe release of Rockstar Games’ “Bully” has raised concerns and objections from educators and child health advocates from around the world. After reviewing the game’s content, the National Institute on Media and the Family questions the appropriateness of “Bully” for children ages 13 and older. “Bully” glamorizes and rewards the kind of social behavior that parents and teachers struggle with every day. Bully Video GameThe flagrant displays of disrespect should make every parent consider carefully before purchasing or allowing their children to play this game.

As a result, the National Institute on Media and the Family has issued a KidScore rating of Red for “Bully.” Because of the game’s numerous incidents of inappropriate content for children of all ages, we believe this game should have been rated “M,” for Mature audiences.

The National Institute on Media and the Family continues to
advocate that parents watch what your kids watch.
