MAKE BUBBLES!

Things you need:
Liquid dish soap, glycerine, container (such as a shallow pan), and wand making materials such as wire, straw, netting, or string.

How to make bubbles:

  • Mix one cup of soap, one teaspoon of glycerine, and a quart of water. You can always make more and store it for future bubble fun. In fact, the solution works better when it is older!

  • Make wands with netting, wire, or string. Have fun making crazy shaped wands - big and small.

  • Dip your wand into the solution and wave it through the air slowly. Try waving it quickly and use your mouth to blow bubbles through smaller wands!
TRANSPORT WATER ON A STRING!

Things you’ll need:
2 plastic or paper cups, string, clothesline, or yarn. Tape and scissors.

How to transport water:
  • Challenge kids to get the water from one cup to the other using two cups and string. The cups need to be at least two feet apart.

  • When they can do that, try to keep the cups farther apart.

  • Race with a friend! Who can get the water from one cup to the next fastest?
